Kat is a programmer working on the npm CLI. Originally from Puerto Rico, she has over 10 years of experience with Free Software, and has worked on a variety of environments and languages, including medical systems in Common Lisp, distributed systems in Erlang, and even worked for some time as a frontend webapp engineer. These days, they spend their time improving the tools used by millions of JavaScript programmers all around the world. They're responsible for many of the improvements that came with [email protected], the npx utility, and a wide variety of Free Software libraries that help the community do new and interesting things every day.
